Company History:
The firm was established by Thomas B. Fecteau, who is President
and Chief Actuary. He has been involved in the employee benefits field for over
30 years. Prior to forming Fecteau Benefits Group, INC he was the Chief Actuary
at two other administrative-service firms. He was enrolled before the Joint
Board of Actuaries in 1976. This board is a federally regulated board
established with the passage of ERISA in 1974. In order to be enrolled and
practice as an Actuary in the employee benefit field, it is necessary to submit
to rigorous testing and continuing education.
Thomas B. Fecteau is also a member of the American Society of
Pension Actuaries and has been a member since 1974. Since 1976, he has been a
member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is also a Fellow of the
Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
